La necessità di testimoniare la fede in Cristo, unico SalvatoreGiovanni 15,26-16,4. Lo Spirito di verità darà testimonianza di me e anche voi.

FESTA DELLE CAPANNE IN GIOVANNI 7
Quando
La Festa delle Capanne (o Sukkot) si svolgeva nel settimo
mese del calendario ebraico, che cade in autunno (tra settembre e
ottobre). Nel capitolo 7 di Giovanni, la festa è già iniziata (v. 2).
Dove
La festa si celebrava principalmente a Gerusalemme, nel tempio.
Tuttavia, alcuni ebrei costruivano capanne anche nei loro cortili o in altri
luoghi all'aperto.
Come
La festa durava sette giorni e prevedeva la costruzione di
capanne di rami e frasche, a ricordo del periodo in cui gli ebrei vagarono nel
deserto dopo l'esodo dall'Egitto. Durante la festa, si celebravano vari riti,
tra cui la processione con l'acqua attinta dalla fonte di Siloe e l'offerta di
sacrifici.
Perché
La Festa delle Capanne era una festa di ringraziamento per il
raccolto e commemorava il periodo trascorso nel deserto. Era anche un momento
di gioia e di comunione per il popolo ebraico.
Nel
Vangelo di Giovanni al capitolo 7
- Gesù non sale a Gerusalemme per la festa all'inizio,
ma ci va in seguito, di nascosto (vv. 10-11).
- La gente discute di lui, alcuni lo credono il Messia,
altri no (vv. 12-13).
- Gesù insegna nel tempio, proclamando di essere la
fonte di acqua viva (vv. 37-38).
- Nasce un dibattito sulla sua origine e autorità (vv.
25-29).
- I Giudei cercano di arrestarlo, ma senza successo (v.
30).
- Le opinioni su di lui rimangono divise (vv. 40-43).
Significato: La Festa delle Capanne
fornisce una cornice importante per la narrazione in questo capitolo. La sete
di acqua viva, che Gesù proclama di poter soddisfare, assume un significato
simbolico, associato alla salvezza e alla vita eterna. La festa diventa anche
un'occasione per Gesù di rivelare la sua identità e il suo messaggio di
salvezza.
Inoltre:
- Il capitolo 7 presenta diverse tensioni e contrasti:
tra Gesù e i Giudei, tra chi crede in lui e chi lo rifiuta.
- Il tema della sete e dell'acqua viva ritorna più
volte, sottolineando l'importanza della fede in Gesù come fonte di vita
eterna.
- La festa delle Capanne diventa un simbolo della dimora
di Dio con il suo popolo, prefigurando la nuova era inaugurata da Gesù.
L’ORA DI GESÙ
"Non era ancora giunta la sua ora": I significati di
"ora" di Gesù nel Vangelo di Giovanni
Nel Vangelo di Giovanni,
la parola "ora" (in greco "hōra") assume diverse sfumature
di significato, spesso interconnesse, che ruotano attorno al compimento del
piano salvifico di Dio attraverso Gesù. Ecco alcuni dei significati principali:
1. Tempo stabilito da Dio
- L'ora di Gesù si riferisce al momento stabilito da Dio
per il compimento della sua missione salvifica, che include la sua
passione, morte e risurrezione.
- In Giovanni 7:30, "non era ancora giunta la sua
ora" indica che il momento della sua morte non era ancora arrivato,
secondo il piano divino.
- Questo significato è spesso associato all'idea di preordinazione e volontà divina.
2. Momento di manifestazione della gloria di Dio
- L'ora di Gesù può anche coincidere con il momento in
cui la gloria di Dio si manifesta attraverso di lui, come nei miracoli o
nella sua stessa risurrezione.
- In Giovanni 2:4, Gesù risponde a sua madre che
"non è ancora giunta la mia ora", indicando che il momento per
rivelare la sua potenza divina non è ancora arrivato.
- Questo significato è legato all'epifania di Gesù come Messia e Figlio di Dio.
3. Tempo di decisione e di fede
- L'ora di Gesù può anche assumere un significato più
personale, riferendosi al momento in cui le persone sono chiamate a
prendere una decisione di fede in lui.
- In Giovanni 12,23, Gesù dice: "È giunta l'ora che
il Figlio dell'uomo sia glorificato", indicando che il tempo della
sua morte è vicino, ma è anche il tempo in cui la sua salvezza sarà
offerta a tutti.
- Questo significato sottolinea la responsabilità degli individui di accogliere il messaggio di Gesù.
4. Conclusione del tempo presente
- In alcuni casi, l'ora di Gesù può simboleggiare la
fine del tempo presente e l'inizio di una nuova era di salvezza.
- In Giovanni 4,23, Gesù afferma che "viene l'ora,
anzi è già venuta, in cui i veri adoratori adoreranno il Padre in spirito
e verità", indicando l'avvento di un nuovo modo di adorare Dio.
- Questo significato è legato all'avvento del regno di Dio.
In sintesi
- L'ora di Gesù nel Vangelo di Giovanni non è un
semplice riferimento temporale, ma un concetto complesso e multiforme che
abbraccia il piano salvifico di Dio, la manifestazione della sua gloria,
