The condemnation of the penalty of the cross against the Son of Man, who
is the Son of God, is to condemn the Father himself, God himself to die. But
this means, however, an inglorious end of the Law, the destruction of the
Temple and of a People who remain God's people.
PARALLELS TO GALATIANS 6:14
God.
Rom 3:4-6 God forbid: yea, let God be
true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified
in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
Phi 3:3 For we are the circumcision, which
worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence
in the flesh.
Phi 3:7 But what things were gain to me,
those I counted loss for Christ.
Phi 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all
things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord:
for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung,
that I may win Christ,
that I.
2Ki 14:9-11 And Jehoash the king of Israel
sent to Amaziah king of Judah, saying, The thistle that was in Lebanon sent to
the cedar that was in Lebanon, saying, Give thy daughter to my son to wife: and
there passed by a wild beast that was in Lebanon, and trode down the thistle.
Job 31:24 If I have made gold my hope, or
have said to the fine gold, Thou art my confidence;
Job 31:25 If I rejoiced because my wealth
was great, and because mine hand had gotten much;
Psa 49:6 They that trust in their wealth,
and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches;
Psa 52:1 To the chief Musician, Maschil, A
Psalm of David, when Doeg the Edomite came and told Saul, and said unto him,
David is come to the house of Ahimelech. Why boastest thou thyself in mischief,
O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually.
Jer 9:23 Thus saith the LORD, Let not the
wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might,
let not the rich man glory in his riches:
Jer 9:24 But let him that glorieth glory
in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which
exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in
these things I delight, saith the LORD.
Eze 28:2 Son of man, say unto the prince
of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast
said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou
art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:
Dan 4:30 The king spake, and said, Is not
this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might
of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?
Dan 4:31 While the word was in the king's
mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee
it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee.
Dan 5:20 But when his heart was lifted up,
and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they
took his glory from him:
Dan 5:21 And he was driven from the sons
of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the
wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the
dew of heaven; till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men,
and that he appointeth over it whomsoever he will.
1Co 1:29-31 That no flesh should glory in
his presence.
1Co 3:21 Therefore let no man glory in
men. For all things are yours;
2Co 11:12 But what I do, that I will do,
that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they
glory, they may be found even as we.
2Co 12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in
infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for
Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
2Co 12:11 I am become a fool in glorying;
ye have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing
am I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I be nothing.

Isa 45:24 Surely, shall one say, in the
LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all
that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.
Isa 45:25 In the LORD shall all the seed
of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that
believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
1Co 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified,
unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of
God and our Father:
Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ:

now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and
gave himself for me.

with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify
the gospel of the grace of God.
Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is
crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we

be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch
as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
2Co 5:14-16 For the love of Christ
constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all
dead:
Phi 1:20 According to my earnest
expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all
boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether
it be by life, or by death.
Phi 1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and
to die is gain.
Phi 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all
things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord:
for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung,
that I may win Christ,
Phi 3:9 And be found in him, not having
mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the
faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
Col 3:1-3 If ye then be risen with Christ,
seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of
God.

the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the
Father is not in him.
1Jo 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God
overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even
